About Me

What began as Jackass-inspired stunt and skateboarding videos filmed on my parents’ VHS and MiniDV cameras, quickly turned into a passion for telling stories. As a teenager, my time spent backpacking across the Western US and Alaska came at a transformative time in my life and sparked my adoration for nature, people, and their relationship with the environment.

During my time at the University of Michigan, studying for a BA in Screen Arts and Cultures, when I wasn’t neck-deep in film theory and writing essays, I was out shooting and directing my own projects. Since graduating in 2015, I entered the commercial world taking my own influences with me, continuing to tell impactful stories.
